Open Book

Allison Orkney

I spend too much time running
And not enough money on concerts
I'm bad with drumsticks
But I try not to step out of rhythm

I've been a poet
A public speaker
Hamlet's best friend
A quidditch captain
The best-named mouse
And a failed amateur rocket scientist

Luckily
Sometimes it's more fun to explode
Than to fly
