My Treasure
More precious than diamonds, silver and gold
my treasure I cling to; I will not let go.
No shimmering jewel or priceless stone,
can compare to the treasure of which I have hold.
It has not a flashy or glittery face
But it's brilliance has no comparison in it's place.
You see it not with your eyes or feel it with your touch
but it fills the heart with a surging rush.
My treasure I hold fast with boundless embrace
I cherish and marvel it, a gift given by grace.
I did not deserve it; I did nothing so great
It was given me freely even in my poor state.
I take now this treasure which I hold so dear.
And share with my neighbor without tremble or fear.
This treasure so special, I just cannot hide
For what purpose then would it have in my life.
My treasure was simply a Gift from above
The ultimate sacrifice given in Love!
