Merry Christmas

It seems with all the hustle and bustle, when Christmas time is near,

When nerves of steel, and hearts of gold can't find that Christmas cheer.

With economic stresses, that bind financially

To grouchy folks, with different strokes, shopping not so merrily.

Some have thousands just for spending on that perfect Christmas gift,

While some pockets hold only pennies for just another Christmas wish.

And while this isn't what's important, it still sucks to find a reason,

To have Peace, and Joy, and show Good Will when you're broke throughout the season.

I've found that I am richer than many others who've crossed my way,

Because of those who have taught me how to love each and every day.

So even though money may be tight and presents may be few,

I've received much greater gifts given to me by you.

So won't you please enjoy the gifts that a little budget brings,

And thank the Lord up above for so many other things.

And through the winter's snow this Christmas, through hail, or sleet, or rain,

I give to you this poem, and you're fucking candy cane!
