Maybe
Maybe
by
Rachel Hoops
Looking down at the ground as I walk these lonely streets
Now as I look up
I see the sky, clear and blue
I smile and look ahead
Nobody in the distance
I look all around, side to side,
Behind me
Still nothing...
The grass is green and fresh
The air is cool with no breeze
Yet, I keep walking
Not sure what I am looking for...
But maybe, just maybe
I'll stumble upon something
