Mary
Once, long ago
Two met
Their hearts became one
Yet remained two
Beauty shared was unbounded
Previous commitments made selflessly
Caused chasm wide to be
Now the two that were as one
Yet remained two
Become null
The past holds our memories
The future
Our dreams
This gift of now is our present
Live it
The mystery of the future
Is the unknown.
