Juxtaposed

The world is old and I am fresh; newborn
in a pool of delicious blood,
good day to you sweet dreams,
perhaps I'll die too in a flood
of wild circumstance that is finely torn,
or maybe other scenes.

Screams of life
capture the air
as these cold eyes whip echoes.

Egos and elbows gather rippled scorn
on soft skin yet to age and would,
could you smile please, extremes?
Emotions; as hard as dark wood
shall make you all feel ill at ease, forlorn,
and I will swim fast streams.

Reams of strife
crash in nowhere
while colour's scraped from rainbows.

Juxtaposed with the scent of chemicals,
nostrils flare, I find I'm amongst mortals.
