It's me !

Karolina Marszałkowska 1993 (Gdańsk)

How many times I wanted to live someone's life
It would be no use if I have ever denied
There is always one thought living in my mind
That others are happier than I ever might

But I look at my hands and hey ! it's me !
I'm just someone no one else can be
I'm writing a poem no one else can write
I'm seeing my future no one else has in sight

I always felt jealous of other people fame
But as I grown less of it remained
I always felt as though I am someone else
In the morning my doubt slowly melts

Cause I look at the mirror and hey! it's me!
I'm just someone no one else can be
I'm writing a poem no one else can write
I'm seeing my future no one else has in sight

Forgive me ... for my selfish thoughts I had
Now I know  lives are equally good and bad
I'll live with myself as a reason to go on
Cause there's no one else I could have won

And I look at my poems and hey ! it's me !
I'm just someone no one else can be
I'm writing a poem no one else can write
I'm seeing my future no one else has in sight
