I'll fade away, my life complete
Did not compete, did not defeat
I loved a lot, and lost much more
I lost the battles, but won the war.

And nevermore my life will be,
I'll cease to know, I'll cease to see
A better man, I couldn't be
I'll sink the stars, I'll drink the sea.

We'll drink the sea,
Just you and me.
