Beautiful green eyed girl, across the room,
Filling my heart with bouquet's  of bloom,
Do we dare to meet half way,
An encounter asking you to stay.

Smile at me and say you  care,
Tell me you will take my dare,
Be my princess of this world,
Please answer yes, green eyed girl.

Born in Oklahoma during the Dust Bowl days, growing up during the early days of the Texas Oil Fields observing WW11 as a child, graduating from high school and marrying in the early fifties, raising two children, Tonya and Brenton through the sixties and seventies and taking care of her parents and parent-in-law through the nineteen nineties has given Oma Lewis a unique perceptive on life.
