Goodbye butterfly

Goodbye my beloved butterfly
you've come and gone so soon.
You became my everyday bread my everyday need. I spend nights weeping in silence for loosing your love staying up late repeating your name, cursing and blaming my pitiful self.
Goodbye my sweet beloved butterfly,
I did not know how to hold on I did not want to believe that your wings were free to fly.
Goodbye my beloved butterfly, I am aware that you simply stop to rest on the petals of my soul but I will stay here wandering through the seasons maybe waiting, maybe pretending or maybe just selfishly exhaling life away.
