Found Hearts

Found Hearts
Lonesome was my heart
lonely was my ways
until I met an astonishing girl
on that far-fetched day

In the winds of mystery
the air filled with sounds
as her spirit held much laughter
absent of a frown

I revelled in her beauty
all packaged in girly lace
with olive skin and flaxen hair
that flowed in a purity of grace

We danced into the evening
straight into the morning sun
our faces filled in merriment
as a new dawn had just begun

The pleasures of our ecstasy
throbbed within our veins
as we tangled together
within a burning flame

Her eyes lit up like bright stars
twinkling in their own light
guiding our passion
throughout a timeless night

She censored all my lonesomeness
that once rested deep within my soul
severing the bitterness
that took a lifelong toll

She cradled me in her arms
just the way you would hold a child
she kissed me on my lips
that drove my passions wild

Under a bright forbidden heaven
we lay huddled in the lush green vale
staring upon a shooting star
that marked an endless trail

It defined our love
which was as bright as the sun itself
packaging the sky in loveliness
ominous of our stealth.

She caressed me so gently
in places sight unfound
with her touching tenderness
so excited was my sounds

We spent a life far reaching
hinged within the universe of desire
in our endless passions
so out stroked by our kindled fire

Norman Wilson

IntroductionForgotten are the times the tick of a clock once chimed sobering sounds that caressed my hearts nightly dreams. As I awaken to the touch of light that burns upon a candles wick flickering my words for all to see. This drives my thoughts through the darkest of nights of loneliness that renders my quill upon parchment with ink that dances to minds and souls. Now I hear the screeching of my heart when the blue horizon covers the orb of emptiness.Within the shelter of my mind with little, purpose other than my words that keep me sane. These are my new poems I have written in the quiet of my night, forever wished away in a writer’s pain. As I strive to write that perfect poem that, my soul desperately seeks. Then and only then can my words rest upon a sleep. more…
