Everybody Pray

Often I pray that everybody pray

That another never goes spiritually astray

That tomorrow will be a brighter day

Everyday I pray for peace

From every heart let love release

That all hate would cease

Nightly I pray for my fellow man

That we give each other a helping hand

That one day united we can stand

Every morning I pray for the oppressed

For those who have transgressed

All those who are distressed

Every time I pray

I pray that everybody pray.
