Ego's Lounge

The black pearl is one thing I love and more
A freedom ship anchored safely offshore
Come with me now, to Ego's Lounge
Paradise in Tortuga, I somehow found
A place you will never feel unwanted
Hopes and dreams always flaunted
A pirate's vision, now open your eyes
Outlaws sing and dance 'neath velvety skies

 (chorus)
For ego's, they are not allowed
You'd better find a way
‘Cause on this trip
We'll sink your ship
And sail upon the waves

This moonlit palace is a beautiful sight
Crystal freedom rings day and night
Rainbow passions shine under our hat
Take what you can, give nothing back
Music is playing thru the hole in the wall
Glistening like diamonds in a waterfall
Listen to the melody, it glides upon a breeze
Freedom is the key, love sings across the sea

Linda D. Blakely

I was born in West Virginia and raised in Kentucky. I've been writing poetry since high school and have been in many poetry circles on the internet. I am known in these circles as the "legendarylinda". I have won contests, received medals and many other merits for my poetry. I would love to travel and see the world. My hero is Jesus Christ. I wish to dedicate this book to my parents and all my friends everywhere in the world. ~Peace Legendary Linda more…
