Early frost
Snow on the ground
early frost in te air
feeling our warmth holding tight
at night the stars are clear
and when the tide is high
the flood gates are open
outside the day is light, and calm
turning to other people
our body language tells it all
in the day time we shy away
from our feelings
at night we hold our darkest fears
our smiles are cold, our memories blanked
the landscape is changing, like the seasons
