Detached

I feel like falling,
before you even let me go
Gripping only to a tattered soul

Shield away from the hurt you caused
Torn away from a family I loved

Forced to fight my enemies alone,
Constantly walking the path of the unknown

For the love I carried forsaken my heart
But in truth, it was you that tore my soul apart

Reiko

I'm a 17 year old poet that has had more than her fair share of torement and loss as you can see in my poems. So far i have only writen of my sorrow. One day soon, i shall find perfect bliss in the abyss that is my life and be able to write sweet things. Until then I will carry faith and love on my right shoulder and my sadnees and sorrow on the other, i shall not let that pain out weigh the positives that life throw at me. I will walk with the sun forever on my skin and pray that i may always feel its rays more…
