Critical Chronicles of the One-Zappers!

Don't you see
That we are simply
Misunderstood?
Faced with such filth,
We know that you would
Wither and wilt,
The same as we-
Violated in the eyes
By such horrid lies!
This sludge disguised
As literature misguides,
Leaving us barely alive!
Oh, how shall we survive?
We must at least criticize!
We shall submit and descend
To read it yet again!
In the name of justice,
We shall resist,
The temptation to desist!
We cannot look away,
Or we shall make others slaves
To this horrible act
Of words meant to distract
From reason and sanity-
Oh, what disgusting profanity!
What blasphemy,
With a hint of creativity?
Thus, we dare to descend,
Into this despicable pit,
Of words that are a little...
Magnificent?
Oh, Blessed Savior!
We've been seduced,
By words we were sure
Were not more than manure,
Yet hold a strand of truth!
What shall we do?
We've been reduced
To see in this poetry
Something of use!
The brittle
Pieces of our minds
Begin to refine
As we find
delight
in words so fine!
Sadly we voted one,
And it's over and done,
Nothing lost or won,
So on to the next one...
