A Walk Down the Lane (new)
Through the falling rain
As it lashes on this lane
I am trying to forget her face
And the warmth of her embrace
They are abruptly effaced
Like the essential rays
Wiped by the black hole
That inescapably controls
My doleful sphere
With its frigid air
That inhibits life
But these glazed eyes
Still lingers on her shade
Irresistibly pervade
In the places for our tryst
In the long strolls we resist
In the swing where we played
In the memories we made
In the serenity of this air
Immanent everywhere
Reminds me of the days
When I was besotted by her gaze
That was never before the same
And turned a flare into flame
As we strolled on this lane
Where the wind is a bane
For the plant's viscous mood
Till the pollen is accrued
To take him to a place
Where he could viably face
The battering of the years
When he is amply geared
With all the necessities
And the congenial trees
They will help the pollen to see
The heights of his beloved tree
That fills me with her face
And a dream I wish to chase
With a feel that ease me brain
While I cherish a walk down the lane
