A Sonet For You...

as the leaves covered my body...
deep into the wisdom of the tree i went...
as i realized my destiny...
deep into the cosmos of the universe i went...

so now i am somewhere else but here and now...
crying alone waiting for something besides nothing...
so where did i go on my way up or down...
patiently waiting for someone to rescue me...

as the light appears at the end of the tunnel...
i fear not...
as i begin to walk toward the light...
i think it is so...

as i am visited by my ancestors...
they introduce me to their new Friend...
