In a moment
ADEGBITE EMMANUEL 2000 (OSUN STATE)
Oh joy of the past,
That is full of so much
Pleasure,
Contentiously we embrace our
Little success
With optimistic mind, we hope for more.
Alas,
The joy faded away without signal,
Our hopeless state of mind is what you oppress the more,
Yelling at us and depriving us from what is meant for us,
Attacking us and killing our glorious Vision;
Is your pride!
Come back to us, our prime!
For us to wipe off our cries,,
Oh, our land Prime.
Thy absence have swallowed our dignity and happiness,
Our worthless commander chased thee, away for their pocket sake,
Picturing philanthropist and benevolent to us, for their pocket sake.
Prime Di Primus, where hath thou be?
We went for a cup, but our land has ceased the stream from flowing.
We went for harvest, but the land yield nothing.
The tree sap couldn't be found
Come back, O ye prime.
Bring back the joy that inspires,
The joy that rekindle us.
The joy borne in us have been ceased off,
And sent to a desolate kingdom.
Put back in us, our joy that was stolen.
Place in us the ancient smiles,
Let the earth smile on that inhabitants.
Heal the land from it source,
Safe the infants from the weeping tales of the past.
"In our days, gun men works on farm,
Land yield bountifully,
Merchant slept all days for no patronage,
We lay in peace and listen to mud songs of the flying birds. "
Safe us from this tales and give the land its healing.
