Myself

Anna Sartin 1984 (United States)

I lay awake staring above
As my mind wanders
Why am I awake?
Why do I live?
As hours go by I feel the deepness of my darkness
I go insane
I wonder why I am alone
What am I worth?
Do I even exist?
My heart get weaker and weaker
As I cry for truth
Miss the love that flew away
Realize that I am empty
Fall more into sadness
