Brothers at arms
Striving and wrangling everywhere you turn
kinsmen falling like hay in the fields of battle
The lake bleeds and creeks ruined
suicide bombers and bearers of death on rampage
by the garrison of Lafiya Dole lies the graveyard peace
Lives are cut down in hundreds everywhere you run
women and children rounded-up in captivity
no remorse or commitment to freedom
As evil sways and sorrow swaggers
In the spillage of black gold the crocodile smiles
Winds of death everywhere you gasp
School girls and age-parents are shield of battles
Sound of terror sends many beyond grave
The voyage of Mediterranean lies the shame of a nation
On this self- afflicted mission there is no more mercy
Battered and bruises everywhere you turn
carcasses litter the shores of boundaries far and near
As creepy tales embraced our abode to stay
The survivors, hunger swaps and embrace
On this mound of deaths the python dance to sorrow
