I Shall Give

I Shall Give
I shall give you my Love,
That’s like Music composed
Of what’s subtle and tough
And the best and the most,

Of the Melos and Tunes
And the Rhythms combined –
Under all dancing Moons
Making sensual Mind,

Under Suns that display
What must Passion reveal,
Under Stars to whom prays
Of the Eyes Milky Meal,

Under Galaxies’ Choir,
Constellations’ Ballet,
Those embodying Desire
In the Space open laid;

Over them be exalted
My Love sent to you:
Let in heavenly Vault
By the Music for Few

Now sound her Word –
Better spoken, her Breath
May this Secret, her Cord,
Sing to you when you rest!..
