DAMN... I woke up!

My first thought every morning when I wake up anymore is — DAMN... I woke up!
I take a nap in the afternoon and I wake to tapping on my feet... and as I open my eyes and focus on you, my first thought is — DAMN... I woke up!
I’ve actually started to say a prayer the last couple nights that includes “I pray the Lord my soul should take”... that is repentfull isn’t it?...
never thought I would pray again... but there you go...
And after the prayer I say to myself, take a deep breath, in through the nose and out through the mouth... and curl up in my spot... and fall asleep wishing...

Then there’s that first thought every morning when I wake up...

DAMN... I woke up!
