Hennessy and Gin
Deshawn Yeldell 1977 (Huntsville)
I’m just a lonely man with a scarred up soul
got a hole in my chest where my heart been stolen,
that’s cold!
She took my heart some time ago turning me into this outlaw,
now I’m just that Lonely man running the land holding my own fate in my hand,
I remember when it was just me and my girlfriend late night sipping on Hennessy and gin,
I could see the glow from her skin and the preciousness from her grin; feeling like I was on a path to win. -MillYentei
