Children grown
Too soon, life has swept each one away;
I now feel what my parents must have felt.
Old age for me midlife for them.
Then our next generation comes.
When my final hour arrives,
Angels will sing and preachers will preach,
While loved ones weep and mourn.
I want a hallelujah singing service.
Weep not for me, but for yourselves!
