Collective Tapestry III
Every now and then we come across snap shot moments from our past something to grasp. We walk the miracle mile as if its the call of the wild. Through the innocent field and stream its good to dream. Of warm nights and faithful friends. Having so much fun with a hope it wouldn't end. These are a few of my recent poetic pieces I wish to share.
Cease The Day
love is not for the faint of heart
it is a sharpened arrow that aims to the heart
dig deep my friend you can grow to depend
upon Merigolds with Tulip hearts
love has gained it also has lost
humanties heaviest of cost
to reach out with both hands
lift up your heads
through chariots of fire
A Good Cause To Smile
lift up your head
to wake the dead
walk the miracle mile
to know all the great while
first cut is the deepest
with this I must insist
carry away by a blind masquerade
to be two places at once
to late for lunch
The Sequential Pier
Spanish eyes in the train station
staying calm in the room
giving cadence to the simple
the cause for its sonic boom
the pier was lovely
on that new day's spring
a fare maiden was wearing an elegant ring
think deep dig deeper
then ever before
lest I implore another open door
Cascading Falls
I thirst for pillars in its vacant course
through shadows that block its vortex
life is made simple
must live it out in harmony
seeking a destiny
living a dream
this course that I'm taking
no time for faking
shadows block the cadence
Silence To All
shades of shame to weaken
eating like a vegan
carry on with a song
faint of heart to impart
walking the miracle mile
the smile from a lonesome child
great call from the wild
to take it all in
lingering on with a song in your heart
