Flying high
FLYING HIGH.
Oh that I were a bird
And could fly on the wing
To heaven I'd soar
And my heart would sing.
The cares and troubles
Of earthly crowds
Would be as forgotten
Dreams in the clouds.
Then at sunset
With it's realms of gold
I'd fly to my nest
And my wings enfold.
Thanking God
For a lovely day
Oh, How I wish
I could have my way.
