Before
William brooks 1959 (Salem)
Here today gone tomorrow is not what life's about. living each day distorted sorrow causes dreadful doubt. How far does it go and when will it end. We've nothing to show but ongoing sin. Where is the love that's supposed to be. How can I fit in for a way to see. It really doesn't matter whether Black or White. The Lord's protection is always on sight. I accept you no matter what color. In God's eyes you are still my brother. Here today gone tomorrow live it as it's best. The life you live the things you do to Christ you must confess. So give up your sins and come unto the Lord then you'll feel the peace. Because with Him running your life you'll feel a big release.
About this poem
I am here today but tomorrow I will be absent and seen no more. All pain and suffering will be gone because I will be with the Lord in spirit.
