Dead horses laying at the starting gate
Those dead horses just could'nt wait
Stuck down now in heart's thunder
In a sea of grey

The reigns given freely now hesitate
Dust and bones in the scattered remains
Lost in fields of forgotten days

Horses are horses and men are men
Just show me where we can begin again
Grave are the tears rolling down sunken chins
In a sea of grey
