A Morning Vision

As light drives out the darkest night.
There’s no one left for me to fight.
So, I’ll just play a tune instead.
From the LORD I have been fed.

“Jesus loves me”, it’s very sweet.
I come and bow down at his feet.
He lifts me up to heaven’s door
And with his love my soul restores.

Many go into outer space;
I’ll wait at home to see his face.
When all of his work is done;
He’ll be our God and we his sons!
