Cheeky boy

Heather lydia thornhill 1981 (Manchester)

Hey aya aya ay

Oh all right.

So many people walking by me.

I cannot look at their faces.

Cheeky boy, smiling.

But my mind is pacing and lying.

I fight the dark thoughts.

Any people.

Any people so many faces I cannot see past me by.

The feeling so small.

Higher. I scream higher.

Nobody sees me move.

Oh the soldiers have fought for me.

I drank a shake for good measure.

Heavy lines on the road.

Oh have I got a clue.

Battle the battle for me then for you when my pen is dry.

We no longer have time to weep.

Realities merged without a warning.

No more no more no more.

I can't be fooled.

Destined for greatness written on my shoe.

Ge day ge day ge day. I tell myself.

Myself.

Always myself.

I believed. I still believe.

My potential lit on your fire.

Can I ever know.

Ever ever know...

Your beauty.
