Mommy oh mommy where can you be I've looked all over this place. I'm seeking and searching where you could be but cannot find your face. I've been here and there and all through the house my mommy cannot be found. Then I stood still as quiet as a mouse to hear my mommys sound. It's been a long time yes mommy is missing where could she be at. Miss my mommy's hugging and and kissing and that is not an act. Mommy oh mommy I will look for you and hope you're coming home. No one by chance has given me a clue so I hang out by the phone.
About this poem
The death of a parent or grandparent can really devastating to children 5yr old on up. We must really pay attention to them as they recover.
