Redemption

I hold my head up high.
I strut when I walk
Speak in waters when I talk.
I've paid my dues.
Yet adversaries still wanting more.
I forgave simply because I need forgiveness.
I let go of my tears and replaced it with a smile.
I've right my wrongs.
What wrongs I can't correct
I give to God.
My pain is now looking for joy.
My name is tarnish. My legacy is non removable.
Now I wipe away tears someone else caused.
I no longer have hate in my heart.
Nu beginning a nu journey.
Is there redemption in the Mist of your enemies
