Blind Beauty
Your beauty isn ́t found in the way you look, dress or the pretty way you fix your hair. Your beauty is in the way you look at me in the old rags and age that I wear.
Your love isn ́t the words that flow so effortlessly from your mouth. But the love I can taste on your tongue, and the sweet softness of your kiss.
Your comfort doesn ́t come from the many things you do to show me you care. It ́s in the sparkle of your eyes, the strength of your arms wrapped around me, and the gentleness of your touch, when your thumb caresses the top of my hand.
Your grace is not in your provocative stroll and the curves of your hips. It ́s in the perfect fit of your hand in mine when we walk side by side in our perfect stride.
Your passion isn ́t in your romantic aggression, or your panting breath when we make love. It ́s in every beat of your heart, I feel pounding against my chest.
Your affection isn ́t only in the kinds of words and support you give me, it ́s in your silent stare. The eternity of your love is in the friendship we share. It ́s written in the stars we wish upon at night, and all the other universal things we don ́t yet understand.
The perfect woman you are is nothing I can see, it ́s your peace and tranquility that overwhelms me in the small space we share.
If I could find the words, or display the examples of what your love means to me, I could conquer and cure the world of every sickness and social disease. End every war, and overthrow every tyrannical monarchy.
If I could find a way to show my appreciation for you in a material way, we would never need the sun, and the stars would be all we would need to lite our way.
I have nothing to give, and ask for nothing to take in return. And when it ́s my turn to leave this world, I pray that your smiling eyes are what leads the way. To a special place where you are with me forever and your love never fades away.
My great wish for all of mankind is to find a woman to love him, a woman as unique and special as mine...
