MY PURPOSE
I need someone to hold in the morning
I need someone to lay in bed with and kiss good night
I need someone to give me strength and encouragement
When I’m feeling down, I need them to say I’m here for you and as long as we are together everything is gonna be alright
When I’m lost and confused, I need them to understand me
I need them to help me erase my doubts
If need reassurance from you, to remind me I’m not alone and continue to show what life and love is all about
And when you feel lost and confused, unsure and nervous, remember you are who I am and this makes you
About this poem
This poem was written to show my wife that our strength comes from our togetherness
