Nightmare: Unclean

Lindsay Mayeux 1992 (United States of America)

Sharp lines and
Medical beds
Stark walls
A metal table
I'm bound by IVs
And dripping
Poison
This place isn't for my health
It's a trap
And scientific research
My body;
A lab rat

I unhook myself from their contraptions,
Dragging my feet across the floor
I'm bleeding, too
From my nose and
Mouth

Empty halls and hospital rooms
An unending crawl
To freedom

To my right, a nurse
And business man
Discussing matters at hand
I've interrupted
He's angry
She's shocked and confused
I'm not supposed to be here
Not unless I'm being worked on

I need to get out of here
I pick up my pace
And don't look back
My blood has started to turn black
It's thick and suffocating
I can't get it out of me
What have they done to me?
Is this all because of
Sin?
