THE ASTERS

Oh dear life,
trekking towards the most crucial part
I just wanna ask," Are you happy with what you have?"
Did you realise yourself and find yourself within those garden of ASTERS?
Those ASTERS which always bloom in some corner of your heart,
shading beams of hope.
But what if those colours fade right away,
without any elegant look.
What if the nectar gets lost, the reason of mumbling of butterflies and bees.
Would you still love it?
Will you again help it to shine in land as bright as that in the sky.
Encouraging and enchanting the virtues she had,
Or will you pluck it out and remove the tree and treat it as a withered one for eternity!!

About this poem

The Aster here symbolises beauty, wisdom and patience. It is known for its elegance. Here our life is personified as the Aster flower. What if one day the flower loses its charm? Then will you be able to love it as you did? On the bottom it's asking a very crucial truth of life. It throws light on self realisation. Knowing the self and it's wants, aspirations and dreams. If one day you lose all of them would you be able to build up with a fresh one or will you still love yourself and again gather yourself together with courage!!
