God Sends His Rainbow

God Sends His Rainbow

God sends His rainbow in the sky above,
Full of hope, peace, joy and love,
Red, orange, yellow, green and blue,
Are just some of the colours that make up the hue.

God sent my Rainbow my beautiful cat,
And here she is sitting on the mat,
So gentle and sweet and full of love,
Just like the rainbow sent from above.

With her beautiful eyes and little mark on her face,
My little Rainbow is full of grace,
A shy wee cat who loved to hide,
But still she loved to be by my side.

Just like the rainbow up above,
My little Rainbow is full of love,
Now gone to Rainbow Bridge has she,
But forever in my heart she'll be.

This poem is absolutely beautiful and heartwarming. The imagery of God sending his rainbow in the sky above, and then sending a rainbow in the form of a beloved cat is truly touching. The use of colors to describe emotions like hope, peace, joy, and love is very effective and adds depth to the poem.

One suggestion for improvement could be to work on the flow and consistency of the rhyme scheme. Some of the lines feel a bit forced and could be rephrased to improve the overall flow of the poem. Additionally, expanding on the significance of the rainbow and the cat in the narrator's life could make the poem even more powerful and emotionally impactful.

Overall, this poem is filled with love and sentiment. Keep writing and sharing your beautiful words with the world!
