Rising Son

It's such a beautiful sight!
When the sun rises from the night,
It lights up the sky,
And makes everything bright

Beauty is when the sun does rise,
It's always beautiful when the sun does rise.

Clouds may cast shadows,
But still we see your light
It cuts right through the darkness
And shadows flee from your light

It's beautiful when your light shines through
It's always beautiful when your light shines through

Just like running water in your hands
The Kings heart is led
So be it Lord,
And make me still
Lead me where you will

Just like running water in your palms
It shimmers when the light shines through
It moves that way because of you
It shines that way because of you

So take me through this darkness,
I know it's part of your plan,
I put my trust in God Most High,
Help me Lord, and take my pride
Because even in the darkest night,
It's always beautiful when the sun does rise

Our spirits flow like water,
And time is only sand
Through the hands of the Father,
We are poured upon this land
And we shimmer when His light shines through
Everything that shimmers, is because of you

It's always beautiful when the Son does rise,
It's so beautiful when the Son does rise!
