A Son's Farewell
In shadows deep, my demons creep,
Their claws dig in my soul to keep.
I've lost my way in this endless night,
Where darkness reigns, consuming light.
I'm sorry, Mom, for all the pain,
For shattered dreams, for tears like rain.
My heart is heavy with regret,
But it's too late, I can't forget.
I'm trapped within this bleak despair,
No escape from the endless snare.
In this tragedy, one thing's clear,
My love for you, forever dear.
But as I fall into the abyss,
I beg for mercy, sealed with a kiss.
Forgive me, Mom, for I must go,
To where the sorrowed rivers flow.
I'm sorry, Mom, I couldn't stay,
To see the dawn of another day.
But in death's embrace, I find release,
From this torment, this endless cease.
So farewell, Mom, please don't cry,
For, in the end, we all must die.
I'm sorry, Mom, for the pain I've caused,
But now I'm free from all that's lost.
