A Reason to Fight

How much love can one heart hold
Does it make you feel scared
or does it make you feel bold.

Can you speak the truth or do you hide from the light
can you love someone so much from morning til’ night.

Love is a drug that strengthens your soul
a euphoric endeavor that never grows old.

A first kiss or a long lasting hug
a sign of faith from way up above.

A love lost is a hard lesson to learn
it gives our life a different turn.

Love turns us back straight into the light
it gives us a purpose and a reason to fight.

The voyage we take brings with it many fears
whether its lasted for 5 or 20 years.

The end game is the reason we love so much
its the beauty of being human with that wonderful rush.

Love and loss will always go together
but love itself?

It lasts forever.
