The Secret Treasure

The Secret Treasure

There's a ghost in the city,
We grew up hearing about it,
But we've nener came across it

My grandmother used to say,
Don't seach for the unknown,
Some things are better left alone.

Too much wisdom may be terrifying,
Don't live life on the edges,
And don't try holding water in your hands

I can't open open my mouth to speak,
I'm terrified.
Tell me if you can see anything,my eyes are blind

I only use my pen to write,
I can't speak from my mind,
Poetry speaks from the heart

So tell me if you can see anything,my eyes are blind,
And l'm only a vessel from behind.
If you can't open your eyes,
Then l'm the treasure you can never find.
