Nothing

Robert loughran 1962 (Ireland)

Much better to be nothing,
than carry all the weight,
of restrictive personality,
and the prison it creates.

Much better to be nothing
and clearly perceive,.
than a postulating puppet
an I do, I don't believe.

Much better to be nothing,
with nothing more to say,
than a mechanical performer,
who can see no other way..

Much better to be nothing,,
with the freedom that entails.
Travelling open and responsive,
no burden and no guard rails,.
