Every Tear That Falls

Every tear that falls, is because of you.
Driving through this same old streets.
Lost and insecure.
Rain falling upon my windshield.
Hides away the tears.

Cause every tear that falls, is because
of you.
Static on the radio.
Can't find my way back home.
No matter how hard I try, still
driving through the rain in circles.

Lost an endless dream.
Because you did me wrong.
Can't fight the tears inside my head.
Now my world is upside down.

Stuck in a trance because of you.
Don't know where to go.
Daydreaming whether or not I
will wake up.
Cause every tear that falls is
because of you.

Our song playing on the juke box.
Hard to go home.
The pictures of you talk to me
in my sleep.
Falling to pieces, losing composure.
Now that your gone everything
fades to black and white.

Because every tear that falls is,
because of you.
Night sky, roaring thunder the
sound of my heart breaking.
Driving down the avenue just a
little longer.

Every tear that hangs is because
of you. Know that I can't stop thinking of
you. Cause you did me wrong.
Took away my stability.
Got me hooked under your spell.

All I can do is think of you.
Forgive me if can't stop crying cause
of you.

About this poem

I wrote this in refrence to my own daily struggles. I find that most inspiration comes from our own falls and failures.
