I am a writer/poet who has been writing since the age of 9. Always heard I had potential but, never put interest. I write about anything that catches my attention and personal experiences. Now that I am much older I figured it is time to put my work out there and let my writings be seen. Thank you in advance for stopping by and reading my works. Best of luck all,we are all creaters, storytellers of our own imagination. Sometimes we need a break to escape reality.

The Lion of Oz Mountain

I roam through the tall yellow blades of grass. Through the sunflower fields as big as my head.
Following the narrow creek to Evermore waterfall.
I wash my paws by the water.

Looking at my reflection. Seeing my scar that runs across my face....

Scarecrow

Every morning when the sun rises in the fields of Oz.
I get a glimpse of peace. Feels like a dream.

Feeling all sorts of things that I cannot describe.

Gets my threadings coiled up into a bunch.

 I don't remember much.

 I get a strange...

The Tin Man

I once was hunter living out my day.
Ventured forward chasing a grey fox.

Since then I have been lost.
With no recollection of who I am.

A spell cast upon me by the dark witch not yet broken. Without a heart that's pure.

 Been so many...

Afterlife

Afterlife, how sweet it is.
Flying on golden chariots. On angel's wings.
To not feel pain.
To have no worry or not know what day it is.
No one knows what lies beyond the sun.

Hidden behind the curtain of life.
There lies the Afterlife.

Hi all! Writing to me has been theraputic and a stress reliever. I write what catches my attention whether personal, a childhood memory, or something that effects me from what I see. Writing is never wrong, writing doesn't judge, its our way escaping for awhile from ourselves. Whether black or white or just because. We are craftmasters of our time.

To all no need to be worried or being skeptical. I know I was at first. But after you post a few. You start to feel good and confident. I get a thrill. When I see a response it, motivates me more. To keep going.
Some words of wisdom.
When morning comes and sunrise shine.
Within the northern winds that blow. We shall hear new songs of praise. -AX.
Be well and good luck....

I am truely thankful. That you love my poem. Linah.77717
In life we try to find answers through actions or depending on someone to not feel alone. Sometimes its good to let go. Although its hard and it hurts. In the end pain eventually heals. Makes us stronger, a better person, and more important. Independent of ourselves.

Hello everyone I started this journey. To promote my poems and learn from other writers. Such as myself. There is so much creativity nowadays. I write to be unique and stand out. Create writings that readers can be drawn into.

I wrote this because sometimes we must search within ourselves. The purpose of who we are. To stand out from among the rest. Be unique in our own way.
