The eyes of perception

Do you remember
When a class member wore glasses we’d scold'em and called’em four eyes?
Well...
I disagree
In fact, I think we need more eyes
Because the only two you have on your phone at all times
Sometimes you don't even realize when you post lies
Hypnotized by the likes and comments
You even start thinking you have things in common
Except for being in a common place, in the same physical space
So now
I'm desensitized
I choose to ignore it
I couldn't help but over heard it
A story
about a mother who drowned her only baby...it was a girl...
It saddened me suddenly because it hit me
There ain't no love in this world
Why am I still loving it?
I guess it can change any moment
And that's what makes it beautiful, ain’t it?
Like a rose with its thorns and pedals
Any moment we’ll settle
Scores of 1000 years
The scars and tears of all who fell here
Like the seemingly eternal turns around the sun
Like the infinite complexities of the universe that stretches far, far, out of reach
For those
No glasses wearing, two eyes always staring, daringly
But never even coming close to understanding the beauty in something seemingly...ugly
Find the beauty in the world and you will have found beauty anywhere and everywhere
Because it is, you just have to find it... first
