In my time of need.

A J C 1958 (Swansea, MA)

In my time of need,.

When you have arrived, I can see a glow in your pretty blue eyes, and I can see your golden hair as it blows in the cool summer breeze. Just one touch of your silky, smooth lips would make me freeze. But in your eyes, I can see the ambulance as it arrives. I feel your love like no other. My heart beats fast because you're here at last. You take my hand and stick the needle in fast. But I don't mind having my hand rest on your lap. You trapped my heart. I know I'm not smart. When the two doors open, I must go. But please stop by only if they say hello. How I love you so. Now you know.

Dedicated to the Swansea ambulance corps.
