Remember me

In a guise
I am my own prize
I hide at my gmas house secretly
And criticize
I stare out Into the darkness
Shrouded in garb like a marksmith
The streetlight is near
Through the old glass window I did peer
And stole a glint
Of a blueprint of the usa
How it will become European
One day
With clarity and doubt
Do not pout
Slowly but surely
I will have clout
Amid paradoxes and conundrums
Certainty and simplicity
Strife is too incessant
To see my life clearly
Yet I plod on until it becomes visible
Until I see it cogently and coherent
And that moment is the most precious
I was watching me across the street in my future
