The hypocrite's decree

Out of my mind
head in the skies
I finally feel at home

Liver pills
and bottled thrills
no longer alone

Occupied sleep
growing receipts
keeping out the cold

I guess I'll see
the cuts and bleeds
when I grow old

Oh burdened me
hear my plea
I'm desperate and alone

I'd rather be
lost and free
To feel like I'm at home
