Preserving Energy

Kip so Free 1989 (Murfreesboro)

It is mine to keep, as well as mine to give
It is also mine to abuse as if it was an unwanted step child
But the knowledge of myself dispersing my energy like leftovers in a garbage disposal baffles me
It's poor judgment of self worth to stretch your energy so thin as the piece of paper I'm writing on and not feel drained like a fish in a empty aquarium
Energy is unique as well as precious
Once giving it is gone from the facilitator
But the transparency is that it could also be received from other individuals
(Negative or Positive)
That's what makes it so profoundly unique because it can be endured and gave willingly
Someone's negative energy can only have a affect if a person "he or she" allows it too (vice-versa)
What it yours is undoubtedly yours
You can keep it or give it away
It's your choice to live with
So for me, Just for today
I choose to be selfish...
